Legend @ Anchorvale Community Centre

Lately there's this new food court/outlet called Legend , which has just opened and it's located less than 5 minutes from my place! Yay to more variety of food in town but that has also gave me a reason to cook lesser this days. opps!  When the coffee shop below my block open, I think I will only step into the kitchen maximum once a week given the busy work schedule I'm having now.:( Legend  used to only sell tze char, roasted delight and western food. Recently, they started selling ramen and the stall is located next to the tze char stall. Will talk more about it later. There's drink stalls too which sells the usual can drinks, kopi/teh, fruit juice and toast :) Derp and I had tze char there on 2 different occasions and this is what we ordered... Sambal Kang Kong - A dish which I couldn't figure out where's the sambal lol. Fu Rong Egg - One of the better dish served by them Ma Pou Tou Fu - Derp don't really like it at all. Gathering with the Uni Buddies!

I finally invited my buddies over to my new place after so many months of moving in. It's nearly a year after I move in very soon. We still have some friends who have yet to visit our place yet hahah!  The last time I met them has got to be at Guo Liang's wedding. I still remember rushing down to his wedding after a 10km race last November! We wanted to meet up sometime after Guo Liang's wedding but never had the chance to. We finally found a common time and so we had a simple lunch affair at my place with Canadian pizzas. I airfried wings and nuggets for them too since they were all guys and I reckon they might not feel full enough. The guys bought bubble tea for us :) as it was a really hot afternoon!   We had a good time catching up with each other over lunch at my place. After lunch, we decided to play with the Go Pro camera. North East Compresssport Run 2015

It's my first year joining North East Compresssport Run . One of my top reasons for joining this race will definitely be I'm a North-East-ian now :) It's also their first time organizing the race at Punggol Waterway, previously it was held at Pasir Ris Park.  I'm taking this chance to cover the really scenic Punggol Waterway because during my normal running days, I don't have the motivation to run that much by myself. I do prefer joining neighborhood small scale races these days because I find it more enjoyable and way less crowded than all the big race out there.  The racepack collection was held at Sengkang Community Centre which is of a walking distance/2 bus stops away from my place. I offered to help my 3 colis to collect their racepack too.  The race pack collection @ Sengkang Community Club It was likewise a very smooth and fast racepack collection. AONE Claypot House @ Jurong Point

I've once blogged about AONE Claypot House @ Jurong Poi nt 2 years ago when it was just opened.  Just lately, I went back to dine in there with my mum for our usual Friday dinner date. Decide to blog about them again because their menu has change from the first time I've dined in there. (p/s: that includes the price too!lol)  They do still have their famous claypot frog leg porridge and etc but we decide to go for something else instead. We ordered the Claypot Luffa with Prawns and Beancurd .  $16.90 for this  Claypot Luffa with Prawns and Beancurd. Though the price is quite steep, they are really generous with the ingredients they used. It was actually a little too much for my mum and me. We also ordered the  "Chai Po" Omelette .  I realised that I've also ordered this dish when I went there the very first time  and it only costs $5-$6 back then! Venus Run 2015

This is my second year joining Venus Run ! It's also the first race of the year and I've to admit last year experience wasn't as great as this year. The organizers did improve much after gathering all the feedbacks from last year. The race pack collection was held at the new Kallang Wave Mall which I blog  about it not long ago.  The whole race pack collection for Venus Run was fuss free and totally no hassle. Yay to no queue and that's because the organizer has sufficient man power to allow everyone to collect their race pack swiftly. p/s: Spot the big indoor rock climbing facility behind the booths.  We took the chance to explore around Kallang Wave Mall since it's our first time there. They have this outdoor pool which looks really cool and fun for kids. The scenery there is awesome too even though when we went up, the sun was scorching hot. It's not really crowded there so parents do take the chance to head there with your kids. It's free if I'm not...
