11th Dating Anniversary Celebration @ Lime (Parkroyal on Pickering)

Pardon for the big hiatus and I didn't realize I had not update this space since end of October.  Traveled on my birthday in November, completed my last few races of the year, busy meeting up with friends and etc hence I MIA-ed from this space for awhile.  Hopefully I can catch up on those backlogs since I will be having a good 10 days break before 2018 arrives :) The thought of 2018 arriving is dreadful but I can only tell myself to embrace it and press on.  So roughly half year back, Derp and I celebrated our 11th year dating anniversary. It was a belated one as both of us were busy with our work commitment so we postponed it for a week.  Just taking it as a day off from work to relax and chill before we get back to the daily grind.  #OOTD for the special day.  We decide to head to Lime @ Parkroyal Pickering  for it's buffet mainly because of it's Matcha fondue. Brunch @ Knots Cafe & Living

Knots Cafe and Living is soon becoming one of my most frequent cafe these days.  It's not easy to find a cafe to suit both Derp and my taste bud but this cafe is by far the only one we both are okay to go back there again and again .I've lost count of the number of times we've went there for brunch/lunch. Love the ambiance of the cafe and not forgetting the yummy and affordable food. There's free wifi provided for the customers too so basically it's a nice place to chill.  Knots Cafe and Living is made up of 2 storey.  The cafe space is really big and there's seating spaces on both levels. This picture was taken on the 2nd level. There's tables catered for couples and also for big groups visiting the cafe.  Since it was free seating, we actually roamed around the whole cafe first to take a look at the decoration and furniture before ordering our food. Kotobuki Coffee @ Wisma Atria

Few months ago, I chanced upon the beautiful Musical Sakura Latte Festival offered by Kotobuki Coffee . Basically it's the beautiful looking dessert/high tea set which caught my attention.  So I decided to ask Kris out for a lunch and at the same time try this pretty dessert set :) Glad that I have like-minded cafe hoping friends around me. It's not difficult to find a date for such purposes because we all love exploring new cafes!  #OOTD for the day :)  Kotobuki Coffee is located at Wisma Atria .  We were there for late lunch so there weren't much people. I was there slightly early than Kris so I went to take some photos while waiting for her :) This was available for the kids set.  Seems like the cafe not only cater for ladies who love pretty stuff, but also family friendly for those with kids. They have set for kids and these cute pokemon gacha balls for purchase :)  The main reason why we are here for. The musical carousel is very pretty indeed!  ...

Day Trip to JB: KTM Train to JB Sentral, Tokyo Secret Cheese Tarts

Derp and I took an impromptu trip across the borders few months ago to run some errands. We decide to take the KTM train instead of the usual bus because the review for the train was good.  It cost slightly more expensive than taking public bus but it was all worth it to skip the jam :) Save lots of time too! Prior to the trip, we purchased our tickets online from  here . Tickets were sold out really fast so it's all about faster finger first and plan your trip way in advance!  We arrived at the train station 1/2 hour before the departure time. It was recommended to arrive early because we have to exchange our 'print out' tickets for the actual ticket before boarding. Queue was expected at the ticket counter as there were people purchasing their tickets on the spot too.  Exchange our print out tickets for this tickets given to us at the ticket counter. We took a short walk to cross the custom and in no time, we were seated in the train to wait for the train to move....

NTUC Income Eco Run 2017

My first NTUC run was way back in 2014. The race experience back then was a good one afterall.  But because it always clash or if not too near to other races, hence I gave it a miss all these years.  Taking it as giving my legs a break! What makes me decide to join this year's Income Eco run was the generous discount code and I only signed up at the very last hour before the registration closes haha! #cheapthrill indeed.  What's in the goodie bag.  Love the recycle bag though because it looks trendy and the quality is good too. On race day, we were slightly late so we missed the flag off timing by a little. Can totally tell that the flag off was on the dot. No delay at all. Quickly brisk walk to reach the starting line before we start the run.  And we are done :) :) Definitely not one of those run where a PB was achieved but nevertheless it was an enjoyable run.  And since it was cheap, so there's no reason not to take part. High Tea @ Saveur Art (Ion Orchard)

I met up with Li Hua few months ago for a advance birthday celebration for her. I guess the last time we met was on the last few days of 2016 though.  Glad that we are still catching up with one another all these years and with her witnessing the different milestones of my life. Totally blessed!  We decide to try something different this time round so we went for high tea.  I've heard of Saveur Art for quite sometime and the high tea set they offer seems to be reasonably priced at. They are located at Orchard Ion which is accessible and easily located.  There weren't much people on a weekend afternoon though.  I did make a reservation prior to my visit  just in case there was not enough seats. Afterall, the whole place could not contain that much diners at a go. Probably a maximum of 30++ guests.
